Susannah Spendle is described in the census as a “niece” but she was probably a grand-niece. Her mother, Louisa, would be Daniel and Hannah’s niece.
In 1871, Susannah Spendell is going by the name Susannah Whitwell and is a house keeper for James Clements in Prittlewell, Essex. Apparently she has two children born out of marriage. Susannah eventually married James Clements who was a Potter’s Laborer.
