18.          ELIZABETH SCOTT   was born in Canewdon, Essex and was christened March 1, 1818 at the church in Canewdon, Essex.  She was a daughter of James Scott and Martha Pickingill.

Elizabeth Scott married GOLDEN ALLEN on February 20, 1843 at the church in Saint Clement Danes, Westminster, London.

Earlier, in 1841, Golden Allen is at Great Stambridge, Essex, with his own farm called “New Pool”.  Golden Allen is a Farmer and he employed many labourers.

The next farm is called “Old Pool” and it is owned by James George Rice Allerton.  It is most likely through Mr. Allerton’s wife, Sarah Ann, that Golden Allen met Sarah’s sister, Elizabeth Scott.

 

In 1851, Golden and Elizabeth Allen are living in a place called “Tyrrells Hall” in Little Thurrock, Essex.  Golden Allen is a Farmer.  Elizabeth’s sister, Martha Scott, is visiting them.
